Young Engineers will assemble a model vehicle of their choice, from wooden components, while learning how things move. Goals: read instructional maps, collaborate in group experiments, and apply critical thinking skills.
Wheels, Axels, Pulleys, Levers, Distance, Measurement, Gravity, and Einstein’s 3 Laws of Motion. Engineers will read instructional maps, collaborate in group experiments, and apply critical thinking skills to solve real world problems. Each child will assemble a model vehicle of their choice, from wooden components, while learning how things move. Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and a rain jacket. Monday- Thursday, August 2-August 5, 10:00-3:00.
Cost: $150 per day, or $540 per week (all materials included) Full payment is required in advance to reserve your child's place. We are seeking a minimum 4 student enrollment to hold this camp. Please email us if other dates work best with your busy summer schedule.
