Conservation Work Party

Join Bainbridge Metro Parks, the Bainbridge Island Parks and Trails Foundation, Gear Grinders, the Bainbridge Island Mountain Bikeing Club, Evergreen Mountain Biking and the BI Parks Dog Advisory Committee for three Saturdays of invasive species removal at the site of our new bike park and expanded off-leash dog park at Strawberry Hill Park.

We’ll work to remove weeds including ivy, holly, scotchbroom, and blackberry to make room for native plants including evergreen huckleberry, oso berry, sword fern and more as we transform this wooded area into a healthy eco system for plants, animals and mountain bikes!
