Author Christina Kemp in Conversation re: Christina's new memoir "Across the Distance"

Eagle Harbor Book Company hosts Bainbridge’s newest author, Christina Kemp, at an evening featuring her debut memoir Across the Distance: Reflections on Loving and Where We Did & Did Not Find Each Other.  Christina will be joined in conversation about her work with author Steph Jagger, another Bainbridge favorite, whose memoir Everything Left to Remember recently launched at an Eagle Harbor Book Company event. Books from both authors are available for sale and signing at the event.

Across the Distance weaves poetic language and piercing wisdom into her intimate exploration of relationships, grief and loss focusing on eight significant relationships in her life, ending with herself.  Her memoir is garnering praise in advance of its release, including a 5-star editorial review from Chanticleer Books.

Christina A. Kemp is a writer and poet who grew up in the Pacific Northwest and presently lives on Bainbridge Island. She has a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, and a small private practice  where she does guidance work with individuals from a blend of depth psychology, embodiment and spiritual perspectives. She has taught in the field of psychology, and also teaches dance to children.
