Relax on Bainbridge Island in the comfort of our cozy yurt! Walk to the beach, soak in the hot tub, and sip tea on the deck while overlooking our silly goats.

Located near Manzanita Bay and the Grand Forest, Island Yurt is the perfect retreat. The yurt is within walking distance of two public beaches and is a short drive to Battle Point Park and Grand Forest hiking trails.

The space
Things to note:

The yurt is located behind our home. The private kitchenette and bathroom are not connected to the yurt, they are located in our home’s daylight basement (roughly ten feet away). The basement entrance is private and you will not be sharing the kitchenette, bathroom, or hot tub with anyone else during your stay.

Our paths may cross while we are caring for our animals and gardens. We will do our best to honor your privacy.

The kitchenette includes a sink, microwave, electric teakettle, and refrigerator. We also have a small outdoor kitchen with a camp stove, BBQ grill, and basic cookware.

The yurt has a queen sized bed and a full sized futon- pillows and linens are provided.

Please, no unregistered guests or illegal drug use on the property. We ask that guests respect our quiet hours (after 9pm)

Please take this definition into consideration before booking. We do everything we can to make our yurt as cozy as possible, but it is not a traditional hotel. You will most likely hear the sounds of nature occasionally during the night.

Guests staying with us in the winter and early spring should be prepared to make a fire in the wood stove. The space heater keeps the temperature around 55-60 on cold nights. Kindling and firewood are provided.

We are located about ten minutes by car from Winslow (the main town on Bainbridge Island). We live in a neighborhood. While Uber, Lyft, and local cab companies are available on the island, we recommend that guests have their own car.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire yurt. The private bathroom and kitchenette are located in the basement of the main house but will not be shared during your stay.
