The 20′ authentic Sweetlife Tipi is available for guests May through September. The tipi sleeps two adults, and is a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, an adventuresome way to house extra guests, a special occasion gift for a friend or family member, and the perfect home base for a cycling weekend. We offer it as a unique glamping experience, as well as an opportunity to explore the features of a small homestead lifestyle chosen for its connection to community, place and the environment. The tipi is privately located adjacent the pond, snugged against the woods.

The tipi is furnished with a queen size bed, comfortable rocking chairs, reading lamps, an outlet for portable devices, books and mini fridge. Ready for stargazing and quiet reflection, a fire pit is steps away. An adjacent open-air bath hut is eco-friendly with a composting toilet and on-demand hot water, and stocked with luscious hand loomed organic Turkish cotton towels and Sweetlife soap. Start the morning with breakfast of homemade granola and yogurt and Sweetlife jams accompanied by french press coffee, teas and fresh fruit juice.

Wildlife are abundant and it is not uncommon to see raccoons, coyote, deer, ducks and great blue herons, eagles, ravens, hawks and many other species of birds. We rarely see but often hear owls, and all these creatures and our rooster have been known to make noise at night. The Sweetlife Tipi is the perfect way to surround yourself with nature without sacrificing the comforts of home.

Sweetlife Farm’s 10 acre slice of heaven abuts the Grand Forest, a woodland preserve with miles of hiking trails. The property is mostly natural woods surrounding a large sunny gardening area and outbuildings, including a chicken coop (and a rooster who crows), and is policed by two jack russell terriers.
