Yoga for Peaceful Eating with Pamela Malo - In-Studio Series

Yoga for Peaceful Eating with Pamela Malo - In-Studio Series

Presented by Dayaalu Yoga and Wellness Center at Dayaalu Yoga and Wellness Center

Are you...

Tired of conflicting information in regards to the ‘best’ nutritional approach?
In an inner tug-of-war always wanting your body to be different?
In need of a dose of the compassion you so generously give to others?
Ready to stop tracking, counting and overthinking every food decision so you can enjoy your life, family, work, and passions more?

We live in a time where new nutrition theories, opinions, and research are ever-abundant and often contradictory. Trusting our body's wisdom feels uncomfortable because we have been trained to look to external sources for answers. Our best dietary advice lives inside us. The body is wise and always speaking to us but too often our mind interferes. We have to be courageous to both listen to, and follow, the insight we receive.

Peaceful Eating is kind and embodied approach to eating that allows you to do just that.
A Peaceful Eater is someone who eats with intention, kindness, and awareness.
A Peaceful Eater trusts themself and their body.

Part yoga class, part personal reflection, and part small group discussion, this course is an opportunity to rewrite your relationship with food, connect with and step into a new story.

I’m new to yoga. Can I take this class?  Yes. If you are medically cleared to do yoga, our gentle yoga sequence is suitable for anyone. Modifications are always offered to allow you to personalize the practice to what is best for you.

Is this class for people trying to lose weight?  Exercises and discussions are designed to cultivate self-awareness and recraft our "food story" to one that nourishes and supports us. Our emphasis is on the longer arc of cultivating a loving relationship with self and body, not weight loss. This class is appropriate for anyone who wants less friction and more ease in their relationship with food and their body no matter what the reason may be.

Is this just for women?  No. Men have participated and are welcome to attend.

Are you going to sell me any products or product lines?  No. This course does not promote any products, cleanses, eating styles or diets.
