Sunday, October 30 @ 2 p.m. BERTHA COMES TO TOWN: THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HIGHWAY 99 TUNNEL. A slide talk by lead engineer (and Bainbridge resident) Brian Russell on the building of Seattle’s latest downtown supertunnel. The presentation will include video from Catherine Bassetti, the official photographer on the project. Building Seattle's State Route 99 Supertunnel: From LIght to Light, her photographic record of the tunnel construction, will be on sale at the program for $55 (cash or check).
