"Meet the Playwrights," a Q&A with the playwrights in the 2022 Ten-Minute Play Festival

at Unknown

Island Theatre’s beloved Ten-Minute Play Festival is back after a two-year Covid intermission, and on August 2nd the public is invited to meet the ten Kitsap County playwrights whose plays have been selected for the 2022 Festival. The ten playwrights (both amateur and professional) will be on stage in person and via Zoom to discuss their plays and take audience questions.

This year’s ten plays will be fully staged in four shows August 18, 19 and 20 at The Pavilion on Madison Avenue, Bainbridge. They were selected from the 65 plays submitted by three theatre professionals and the Island Theatre board of directors.

The ten plays and playwrights are:

“A Murder Of Crows” by Lee Lawing
“A Nip In The Autumn Air” by Jeffrey Brown
“Best Case Scenario” by Dan Rosenberg
“Hijab” by Catherine Rush
“Losing Tucker” by Paul Lewis
“Maisie, Max and Milo” by Maria Viera Beatty
“Nacirema's Revenge” by Henry Bacon
“The End” by Olivia Vessenes
“The Winner” by Lori Londagan
“Vesper” by Miranda Ray

The 2022 Ten-Minute Play Festival is partly supported by grants and donations from the City of Bainbridge Island and One Call For All.
