The Treehouse Cafe presents “A Collaboration of Friendship in Art” by “The Rockettes Seven” from June 1 through July 31. 4:00pm-9:00pm Wednesday - Sunday. 4569 Lynwood Center Rd. NE, Bainbridge Island, WA
Exhibit Reception open to the public: Sunday, June 26 from 3:00pm-6:00pm
The Treehouse Cafe in historic Lynwood Center neighborhood not only features specialty pizzas and other menu favorites. It also features live music on stage and local artists who cover the walls with paintings. There’s even a special room for playing pool and darts.
During the first year of COVID summer, some painters were fortunate enough to meet outdoors on occasion with Plein Air Washington Artists (PAWA). When the weather changed, seven of those female local painters found camaraderie via weekly zoom sessions to fuel inspiration and boost morale during the quarantine. Since then, they have had collaborative paint outs and shows.
This show featured at The Treehouse Cafe is their collaboration of friendship in art. The feeling is that “art is a journey of exploration and expression, unique to each one of us”. Therefore you will find that each artist here compliments each other, but in their own style.
. They are grateful for their friendship and to share their work with the public.
