guided meditations and reflections
short exercises that actually fit into your life
tips for finding time to practice in your busy day
audio recordings of guided meditations to do on your own
resources if you want to go further
Week 1: What is mindfulness? Working with the breath and getting started.
Week 2: Working with sensations in the body. Building a practice.
Week 3: Working with emotions. Weaving mindfulness into daily life.
Week 4: Working with thoughts. Further resources.
Shoshanna Kirk is a graduate of the Sounds True Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program through with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. She has also studied meditation through the Stanford Compassion Cultivation Training, MBSR for Childbirth and Parenting, Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach's Power of Awareness program, James Baraz's Awakening Joy program, Rick Hanson's Foundations of Well Being program, as well as at Cloud Mountain, Spirit Rock, Esalen, San Francisco Zen Center and Green Gulch Zen Center.
