A WAC EVENT
Take a ferry ride across Puget Sound and discover Bainbridge Island. Join the Curator of the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) for a docent tour of the museum’s collection of contemporary regional arts and crafts. Followed by a walk through town, we’ll lunch at Doc’s Marina Grill located waterside with a great view of the harbor. The afternoon takes us to the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial for a powerful docent tour of the historic Eagledale ferry dock landing site, where the first Japanese Americans were shipped to concentration camps during World War II.
