Bainbridge Island Cottage in Port Blakely

This wonderful, quiet waterfront cottage is located in the heart of Port Blakely with an unmatched view of downtown Seattle. It provides a special opportunity to unplug and get away, where you can watch the herons and harbor porpoises in Puget Sound, cook or BBQ meals, read on the sprawling front porch, go for walks, or spend time combing the private beach – all while just a 10 min drive to downtown Winslow (and ferry to Seattle) for great island shopping, farmers market, winery and restaurants.

The space
This rustic cottage is an ideal getaway for up to seven people, with a bunk room that can sleep three (bunk bed and a twin), a main bedroom with a queen size bed, and a private room off the kitchen–with dining table for meals–which has a daybed that converts into a king size bed. Really nice for two couples or two small families. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals, though please note that there is no dishwasher, so you get to have extra fun washing dishes. 🙂 The private room off the kitchen with the daybed also has a dining table for eating meals. The living room has picture windows looking out on Seattle with plenty of seating and a fireplace. There is a small television with DVD player and a Fire TV for your streaming apps, and a game closet that has games and puzzles for kids and adults. The half bath also has a washer and dryer for laundry, while the full bath has a shower and tub, complete with “cottage-like” water pressure.
