The Private Peaceful Cottage

WELCOME to this delightful, comfy and cozy cottage with pocket views to the Seattle skyline, Cascade Mountains and the Puget Sound shipping lanes. Less than 2 miles from the ferry terminal and the center of town, you’re surrounded by tall evergreen trees, resident bald eagles and gardens. A block below on the quiet beach you might see seals, salmon, Orca whales, Mr. Rainer… A propane fireplace adds ambience and warmth. A sweet and comforting poodle mix, Bodhi, will likely greet you brightly.

The space
From the ferry terminal to your own little cottage, you’ll pass through a beautiful golf course before it becomes a single tree lined lane with glimpses over the water to the Seattle Space Needle and the mountains. The lush green surroundings offer sanctuary and refreshment with occasional views of ferries, cargo tankers, tug boats, cruise ships and sail boats. You have access to the shared private beach with views of the Cascades south to Mt. Rainer and north to Mt. Baker. Walking, picnicking, beach combing and fishing await you. The cottage and gardens are a dedicated green space that only use products that are as natural as possible.

This is an ideal location for tourists, romantics, explorers, artists, writers, spiritual retreat-ants and overall wanderers. It can be a delightful change for those attending conferences in Seattle who’d enjoy slowing down and refreshing after a full day in the city. It’s also a well located base to adventure forth into the region, from the Olympic Peninsula west, Seattle east, island hopping north and Mr. Rainer south.
