The space
Our kitchen is fully equipped for preparing family style dinners or small snacks. Guests are welcome to use any condiments and spices in the well stocked cupboards and drawers. Pantry items are available as well. For longer stays, please restock any item that you use up. Coffee set up and fixings will be provided for your first morning.
Two bedrooms have queen beds, the third room is a charming children’s room, with three twin beds. Both upstairs bedrooms have lofts big enough for added sleeping space, or just a place to play. Brand new mattresses on all the beds.
A bay-side patio is a perfect place to relax in the evening. Both a pellet and a charcoal bbq grill are available.
We have a small, black dog, Humong. During the warm summer months, he can often be found laying on the sidewalk soaking up the sun. He is very gentle and doesn’t bite, but when not basking, he will be in owners’ quarters.
Guest access
We have 6 generous and beautiful hens, and guests are welcome to gather their eggs for breakfast. Also, when in season, guests are encouraged to pick and enjoy our blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, Asian pears, apples or/and peaches.
Inside, we also have lots of toys, crafty things (paper, water color paints, stamps, box of material) board games, travel toys, all available to guests. Local TV via antenna with several local channels. Also have Netflex via Wi-Fi available, plus large VHS/DVD video library. During the colder months, the wood stove in the family room is available. Please use presto logs only (guest purchased).
We have several boats which guests may use–2 aluminum canoes (15′ and 17′), a 14′ C-Lark sail boat and a 14′ Whitehall row boat. All children and non swimmers are required to wear life jackets when on the dock, and according to Washington State law, everyone is required to wear life jackets when in the boats.
